Class Levels

Beginning

Intended for kids age 7-12, these classes are project based and so much fun. Each project teaches or reinforces specific sewing skills that will help students gain foundational skills for clothing construction and beyond! The quick and easy projects boost confidence and are the perfect entry to sewing.

Class a - Drawstring bag, shorts, nightshirt

B - Pillowcase, pajama pants, treasure bag

C - Peasant blouse, full skirt

D - Bib apron, wrap-around skirt

Intermediate

These classes are also intended for kids age 7-12, project based and so much fun. In order to take an intermediate class, it's recommended that you've done at least two beginning classes.

Class E - Beach towel poncho, beach tote

F - Zipper pouch, denim skirt

G - Jumper dress, button pouch

H - Peasant dress, ruffle skirt

Specialized

These classes are for students who have moved beyond the project based classes (have taken at least 4) and are ready to work on projects that are a bit more time consuming and require more patience. This is where those foundational skills are put to real-world use!

Class P - Personal project from an approved pattern

Q - Quilting! 4x4 Rail fence quilt

Knits

These classes are for those who are ready to move beyond the simplicity of woven fabrics, to sew with tricker knit (stretchy) fabrics. They are an introduction to working with knit fabric, and so the projects are quick and simple. Must have taken at least 4 classes.

Class I - Leggings, T-shirt

J - Crew Neck Sweatshirt, bucket hat
